It’s surprising and kinda neat how in the Red Alert 2 game, the US campaign is extremely individualistic (win several missions by controlling a single special agent or using the tech of a single genius scientist), whereas the Soviet missions are all battles with ordinary soldiers with no heroes or tech ex machina.
