His profile pic is exactly what you'd expect a Rick and Morty super fan, who is over obsessed with the sugar sauce that he wants to dunk his deep fried Mc©anically separated chicken like substance bits into, to look like.

I’m ashamed to say I went to one. I didn’t think much of it, I saw it was happening and went “I like Rick and Morty, that sauce sounds kinda tasty, I’m free this afternoon, why not?” I had no idea it would become the insane nightmare it was.

Also to give the tiniest credit to the Rick and Morty fans, McDonald’s did really fucking bungle it. Not enough to deserve the wack ass reaction it got, but they didn’t handle it well.

Maybe I'm too conspiracy brained, but I'm still convinced that was intentional. A botched promotion gets more attention than a low-key normal promotion.

Oh, nothing to be ashamed about, seems reasonable to go to a funny little promotion for a cartoon you like. The good lord knows I've done weirder shit.

Hearing about the police being called to some of them is really what made me laugh at the time, lmao.

I went to this with some college friends, the nearest location that was doing it was about 20 minutes away in a neighboring town. By the time we got there (midday) we were told that they had just run out and some dudes were selling them for 50 bucks a pop. We said fuck that and left. Two days later we checked our local store on a whim at like near midnight and the confused worker just handed us a few dozen out of a drawer when we asked

How was it? I don't remember it from the Mulan promotion, but I generally know McDonald's sauce as really, really sweet. I guess the joke from the show was that the item was so obscure and undesirable, that's why it was funny.

I'd be impressed if the sauce was actually just off the chain.
