People are recommending Finasteride or Minoxidil but I'm convinced that they are basically useless scams more for the placebo effect than anything else. Just to keep the balding quiet for a few months. Don't waste your money or time with finasteride or minoxidil, you will just extend the cope phase of hair loss as you delude yourself into seeing progress. Only solution is to accept your fate, male pattern baldness effects most men (even some women) and there is no way to stop it. People probably won't notice until it progresses quite far, and by that point half your peers will also have it so who cares? shave it off or get a wig if you don't like how it looks
If you’re under the illusion that theyre meant to reverse hair loss they definitely dont, but fin, especially, can stop you from losing more hair as long as you’re taking it. (Which you will of course shed as soon as you stop taking it)
Min also won’t make your hair regrow but it can cause some baby hairs that can sometimes regenerate but no nothing is gonna make it magically come back.
Some people do regenerate a bit if the follicles aren’t fully dead but most everyone says the big three keep you from losing more hair not growing it bsck
nah. fin works. my hairline was receding at a fairly steady pace through my 20's/30's (both sides of my family have mpb) and it hasn't budged in the last few years. i wish i had started it sooner but i had your attitude + was scared off by all the internet complaining about side effects.

There are tons of scams for hair loss but finasteride and minoxidil are clinically proven in placebo-controlled trials. Literally no other drugs are.
If you get generic proscar (5 mg finasteride tablets) it's dirt cheap.

minoxidil is legit. trans men can use it to grow a beard too!
