Also it’s so funny, allowing people to settle in one place and own a home is literally a prime avenue for creating conservative voters, but rich people are too greedy to even think that far ahead.
Honestly same, I've had at least 6 landlords in the last 10 years, just an endless cycle of: going to place with low rent - rent increases/gentrification occurs - move to new area with low rent.
