    As sad as this is to say, these shootings happen every day but the police rarely fuck up this bad this publicly. It is absolutely worth politicizing their inaction, their incompetence and their malicious cowardice. What the fuck is the point of spending millions of dollars on militarized the police if they can't even stop one guy in a two hour window? How can anyone justify their existence, especially considering all of the sketchy circumstances surrounding this case? This is absolutely the correct conversation right now and anyone trying to redirect is at best a fascist apologist.

      To think I didn't believe, at first, that the first police were primarily slave catchers when it's literally all they're good at.

      i think you've already figured it out . why is it the police's job to prevent violence? Nobody expects the police to come knocking on proky's door for abuse of workers which is entirely systematic violence. any worker or oppressed minority who've had run in's with the polcie can tell you that. why are school shootings presented as abberations in the world where many colonized countries deal with school violence everyday,. what are the class impulses for this?
