      I mean yes, probably, but on the other had this is exactly what my house looked like growing up on welfare, so, you know, it's just accurate as fuck, too.

          Everything is either old (60s-era furniture and flooring) or plainly made of the cheapest possible substance (particle board, linoleum, toy plastics).

        Same tbh, but it's not so much that the houses are messy, but the way that the photos are taken, I think? Many of them are literally taken from above, or while people's mouths are open, harshest possible lighting, etc. Just a vibe.
