Thing is that works. It's despicable when it's the only thing your gonna do (i.e. give them steak then dole out more austerity), but when the opposite party has done not just jack shit but is currently being blamed for the rise of COL and not even being concerned about baby formula running out or school lunches for poor kids being cancelled soon then it's about time to admit that the Dems just aren't willing to fight for votes via material benefits (saying this to a lib will cause them to shit themselves in protest). Material benefits = shit people need to survive and so is at the very base of their hierarchy of needs!
