I heard a young man speaking out just the other day; I stopped just to listen to what he had to say; He spoke straight and simple-by that I was impressed He said, "Once and for all, why not the best?"

He said his name was Jimmy Carter and he was running for President And he laid out a plan of action made a lot of sense! He talked about the government and how it used to be, for you and me; That's the way it ought to be, right now: Once and for all, why not the best?

He spoke plain and simple and I began to understand I was listening to quite a man, talking to me I began to see... We need Jimmy Carter! Why settle for less? America- Once and for all, why not the best?

We need Jimmy Carter! We can't afford to settle for less America- Once and for all, why not the best? Why not the best? Why not the best?

Ohhh story time! When Carter won the nobel prize I lived in Norway. Was flying back to Michigan and the flight from Oslo to Sweden got super held up. They apologized and came on the intercom to say there was a VIP and he wanted to apologize for making everybody late. Jimmy Carter comes walking down the aisle shaking everybody's hands. He got to me, I was so hungover from the night before as to still be drunk, natty dreadlocks etc. I realized what was going on, shook his hand and said "I really dig your work in Cuba, man." He laughed and said "thank you son".

Definitely best president in my lifetime.

I like that song.... and I would consider him as the good 'Biden', or what his supporters thought Biden was like...

Srsly, tho, I wouldn't vote for him, but it's more related with the system... just look at the spoiler

    spoiler

I know you like Jimmy Carter due to him mellowing down with foreign policy post-presidency

But honestly, even with him, I don't think foreign policy would be changed much, due to established U.S governance and control by Capital..

Remember, his admin aided the East Timor massacres, supported UNITA, and the trap that became the Afghan Soviet War...

If it was possible for him to not have that happen, and for his government to stop itself and instead slap itself, he'd be fine

That being said, he's at least not that much of a ghoul, compared to Biden who still insists on continuing his political career as president...
