Gas is more expensive under Biden. It doesn't really matter if it's his fault or not. It doesn't matter that it was cheaper under Trump who was a piece of shit. Broke people in suburbs and rural areas drive Corollas or old Hyundais. They are still hurting at the pump, but not as much as a chud with an f-350. Also, broke people usually live near their jobs as much as they can.
There is a certain type of suburb where this meme is on point - where they've been calling hybrid owners or EV drivers commie f*gs for years - and it's really funny.
Broke people can't afford to live near their jobs anywhere on the west coast, I assume this is mostly true for the north east, but maybe not the south east.
