A lot of people are saying this must be fake because he turned himself in before doing anything. I would be more inclined to believe the opposite. Fully plotting and preparing to do a crime and then turning yourself into the authorities moments before performing that crime is the most liberal thing that anyone could do. There is something baked deeply into the liberal psyche, that sacrificing yourself (being a martyr) is more powerful than actually standing up to authority.
Liberal ideology would have us believe that by demonstrating we could stand up to authority but actively choosing to sacrifice oneself instead, we have created a powerful symbol. This powerful symbol would inspire other people to sacrifice themselves to create more symbols of disobedience and then the oppressive authorities will feel guilty and decide to do the right thing on their own. This is how liberals think the black civil rights movement was won, that black people endlessly turned themselves in to the police until the authorities felt so guilty that they had to change laws.
