Netflix is really bad at recommending me stuff, because they don't differentiate between good and bad movies/TV, so I don't think the likes/dislikes are accurate.

I like comedies, don't like bad ones, and learn about Netflix shows I like after they decide to cancel them.

Might as well pirate stuff if I have to put in effort into finding stuff I like.

Also they don't let the app work on rooted Android. Which is fucking stupid because piracy is easy already, and I'm paying you.

Same energy as being shown giant FBI warnings on physical media that I ALREADY BOUGHT

or the trailer is just some random scene in the first episode with the main character walking around over tense music

    Irreverent, witty, dialectical

The screensaver for Netflix always describes the shows it pushes in three words like that and it is annoying but also funny.

"why hasn't anyone made a show about a guy who hates buying stamps?"

Ngl I am very willing to watch things knowing nothing about them besides “Has actor and director I like and people say it’s good.” I often enjoy shows and movies a lot more the less I know about them going in.

There's a whole slew of "This <year> <genre> stars <no name person>." and that's the entire synopsis. Is it good? Does anything happen in it? What?
