Interviewer: Do you regret using the word 'illegal' to describe immigrants last night, sir?

Biden: Well... not- probably- I don't regret- technically they're not supposed to be here.

From his State of the Union speech last night, he said: "Laken Riley was an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal".

Going back in time and thinking it's 20-30 years ago is a huge sign of dementia and Alzheimers.

You lose your most recent memories first generally, and older memories, usually the ones you thought about the most, are what is left, before slowly disintegrating away into oblivion.

There needs to be a maximum age for serving office. No one over 70 should be allowed to serve in any branch of office.

Posting this as a followup. In an interview from today with MSNBC, Biden is now saying that he regrets using the word "illegal" to describe an immigrant. Biden says he should have said "undocumented person". Though he follows it up by emphasizing that his border policies have not changed and says "we have to control the border".

it's such a weird discussion to even pretend to have. like, the legal reality that people who cross into the country or stay in the country without approval from the state are considered criminals is not something that anyone in power disputes or disagrees with. the whole argument is whether it's okay to say that out loud or we have to pretend that ICE is a necessary institution and imprisoning asylum seekers is for their own good.
