gonna open an AroAce theatre where I fast forward through all of the romantic subplots to get to the good stuff and instantly cancel (worse than death) anyone who complains

    Sorry for the inconvenience :ace-heart:

That sounds like an actual good idea that would be great for aromantic/asexual people.

I'm neither of those but I still get annoyed at :awooga: pandering in media sometimes and I can definitely see the appeal.

Imagine trying to watch Mask of Zorro with all the sexiness cut out. Basically just a bunch of people shouting over explosions. No shirtless Anthony Hopkins whipping candles. No sweaty men pressed against each other's sword blades. Every single scene with Catherine Zeta Jones would have to include giant black censorship bars. What a waste.

I can't speak for aromantic people or asexual people directly, but I do believe there is a difference between sexy scenes and sex scenes.

Yeah, but an aromantic or asexual friendly presentation might recognize such a nuance.

I'm aroace but I love (lol) MLM romance stories. Gay webcomics (heartstopper, always raining here, Peanut Soup, etc.) are my guilty pleasure. Granted, characters don't kiss much because it's usually written for teens.

      No straight shit, tho.
