Imagine trying to watch Mask of Zorro with all the sexiness cut out. Basically just a bunch of people shouting over explosions. No shirtless Anthony Hopkins whipping candles. No sweaty men pressed against each other's sword blades. Every single scene with Catherine Zeta Jones would have to include giant black censorship bars. What a waste.
I can't speak for aromantic people or asexual people directly, but I do believe there is a difference between sexy scenes and sex scenes.

I'm aroace but I love (lol) MLM romance stories. Gay webcomics (heartstopper, always raining here, Peanut Soup, etc.) are my guilty pleasure. Granted, characters don't kiss much because it's usually written for teens.

My dad used to do this when we watched Legend of Zorro during the scene where he cuts off the dress from Catherine Zeta-Jones. He eventually put a piece of tape on the VHS on that section so the tracking would go nuts and static
