It's been over 2 weeks, I still have a stash, I just haven't been taking them.
It wasn't conscious at first, just got out of habit but now I'm at the point that I'm too anxious to contact my physician and tell them I stopped taking my meds without advice.
Seconding the recommendation for a long taper. Here is a resource I found a while ago when helping a friend with this. It does seem to me that the prescribed tapers for most psychiatric drugs are too short to prevent adverse effects in all cases, likely because our current treatment strategy is trial-and-error and it's beneficial to swap drugs more quickly.
I recently went off my anti depressants as well. I definitely recommend you see your doctor if you are able. I tapered off by taking a half dose when the brain zaps were getting hard to bear. It took like a month before they mostly stopped.

Brain zaps are the wooooorst. Are you on Cymbalta? That's what I take and if I miss just one dose I am miserable.
