1 here's a few things that the FDA can do to further improve access to abortifacients.

2 this suggestion is about hiring providers by the federal government so they'd be covered by qualified immunity

3 this mentions a few options like providing abortions on federal lands, leasing federal lands to providers. They Hyde amendment would be a lot easier to repeal because it's just a budgetary amendment (which isn't a Joe Biden thing but he can at least tell democrats to do that!), btw the Hyde amendment has always had exemptions for rape, incest, and danger to the woman's health.

4 Biden could use the ACA to require that insurers cover abortion services, at least in states where it's legal. He could expedite and prioritize Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement for abortion services since that demand is predictably going to skyrocket. He can declare a public health emergency and use federal disaster funds. Federal travel vouchers for abortion services (at least the ones exempted by Hyde)

5 Liz Warren called on Biden to enforce Free Choice of Provider requirements and create a reproductive health ombudsman,

And the big radical thing would be to simply ignore the bans and take the stance that they are invalid because they are preempted by FDA regulations approving abortion drugs 6. The AG has said that they will continue to be available for that reason but Biden hasn't said that the laws are invalid for that reason. It's what Trump would do. Kind of stretches the limits of "working within the system" but like just do what the AG hinted except taken to it's logical conclusion.

Now the bully pulpit stuff. 7 Joe Biden needs to say the word abortion. It is officially time to go there.

I write this because I'm tired of hearing the excuse "um Joe Biden isn't a dictator. Ever hear of ThE FiLiBuStEr?"

PS: More on the Hyde amendment which bans federal funding for most abortion services. The Hyde amendment is just a rider to the HHS appropriations bill which means it has to be reintroduced every year with that years budget.

The good news is that congress doesn't have to pass anything to get rid of it. Democrats have to stop passing the Hyde amendment to get rid of it.

Libs can't even admit that Biden is anti-abortion and has sights on dismantling social security. It's pathetic.

Simply ignoring the Supreme Court is within the system. It has historical precedence. It wouldn't be weird except to the people who sleep with the "rules based order" people. Which, admittedly, is basically any Democrat around and including Biden. I just don't feel like ceding ground that ignoring the SC is crossing some line.

things that Joe Biden can do working outside the system:

withdraw all protection supreme court justices have

go on TV and release all the known addresses of supreme court justices

promise to pardon anyone who [redacted] a supreme court justice

drop a hellfire missile on the supreme court

The bizarro world problems is that today the supreme court will probably (surely?) issue its ruling on the EPA. It's likely the GOP justices will gut the ability of that agency to do its job.

After the justices do that - and I'm just spitballing here - the ruling will be so board and crushing Biden will start to act like his hands are 100% tied so his press secretary will say he can't use the FDA on abortion in any way, shape, or fashion until the law is "clear". And that - of course - will be well after the elections.

I know the democrats don't wanna govern but when the courts guts the federal power of the executive, Biden could just be like "fuck you" and not enforce it. What are they gonna do, send the supreme court army? Lol.

Sure - he could. I assume that Biden is one of those hopeless fucks who prays to God every night for succor and for guidance. I bet every single night he says to God: "Thank you for protecting the sacred life of the fetus. I am your humble servant..."

I would also suggest they start going after Republicans in Red states for violating civil rights under the 14th amendment.

Democrats could also go at Thomas, Alito, Barret, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Roberts for lying and committing perjury in the forms of an impeachment.
