gonna miss the birthmarked bastard once he's gone. A relic of the old era, now almost entirely irrelevant lol. We like to give Gorby a lot of shit but he legitimately wanted to save the Soviet Union, he was just a naive succdem who didn't see the threat of the reactionary forces swirling around him once they smelt blood in the water. I pity him but can't hate him, he was put in a pretty unenviable situation.
He's a good reminder that any adversarial ruler popular among NATO countries usually is that way because they're actively going against their country and bowing to NATO.
