    The pickup truck in the picture doesn't have an 8' bed, so is basically useless as a pickup truck. It's just an El Camino SUV.

    I will say that Ford is starting to go in heavy on electric pickup trucks, though. The F-150 Lightning sounds good except for only coming in crew cab. It's got good towing capacity, though.

      The 2022 F-150 Lightning Pro with the smaller standard-range 98 kWh battery pack has a base curb weight of 6,171 lbs and a GVWR of 8,250 lbs. It also puts the base Lightning payload at just over the promised 2,000 lbs.

      Progress is when the largest electric truck with load has a good chance of absolutely fucking obliterating en ampty ICE F150 due to sheer accelerated mass
