I think the initial reason we abstained from creating a comm like this is explicitly sourcing or hosting material leaves us vulnerable to DMCA takedowns, which for a site making its hosting costs through essentially crowdfunding is no joke. Unsure if the vibe has shifted on that.
No, why would we want to invite a(nother) reason for takedowns and ISP blocking when we don't have to.
don't host stuff that could get the feds involved (or the courts). Create a matrix, put it up in some other federated space. Let's try and keep this site alive.
