Do they really believe that the President of the United States of America, at the height of the Imperial Presidency, with no effective limits on his arbitrary use of power, can't do anything?

or are they just fucking with us?

Edit: I would like to remind everyone that when Obama was hunting for Anwar al-Awlaki the man's father came to the US to try to get the courts to stop Obama from murdering his son. The SCOTUS said they wouldn't touch it bc murdering US citizens without a trial is a "political question", which is some bullshit doctrine they made up. Then Obama killed al-Awlaki and his 15 year old son, both of whom were US citizens, with drone strikes. With no trial. Of any kind. It was just straight up illegal murder.

Biden can literally kill anyone he wants for no reason. The SCOTUS signed off on it years ago.

If the rules you follow brought you to this, of what use are the rules?

Maybe the system doesn't work if the most powerful individual in it is apparently 'helpless'

Or maybe he isn't and just doesn't care.

I hate these fucking clowns that cape for octogenarian ghouls, ghouls who would feed the clowns and everyone they loved to hyenas if it helped the ghouls out in any conceivable way.

It's incredible that after years of Trump constantly "breaking the rules" without consequence with libs watching on screaming "he can't do that!!!!", they still don't believe the Dems can do the same thing when they're in power, or are actively against that because of civility brainworms.

They said he couldn't do it while Trump was actively doing it at the time therefore by lib idealism the next president can't do it.

But the historical precedent! If we ask Biden to play dirty now, people might expect future Democrats to actually get things done.

Joe Biden is currently taking some time to practice self care and doesn't currently have the bandwidth to do the emotional labor of solving your problems

Yes, Biden's situation as President of the United States is very similar to my situation as an autistic adult struggling to pay rent. I'm glad I see that now.

"we cant do anything bc republicans" blah blah blah! they cried, despite the fact that the unitary executive has been well established for generations

jojo brenden can do all sorts of shit literally on his own with the stroke of a pen and not even have to go though congress, he just wont bc that wouldn't align with the interests of the bourgeoisie

Also Liberals: "Stop asking him to do things! It's elder abuse that you ask him for things!"

They also talked about Biden overcoming his stutter like it was cancer or something, complete with a feature about how a little girl with a stutter now saw herself in the presidency.

Joe Biden is a father. He is a cis-gender millennial who has been diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder. He is intersectional, but his existence is not a box-checking exercise.
