They'll go back to brunch, gloat a little about how abandoning their values was the best strat all along, and then the leaders will feel even more empowered to do some more heinous realignments.

Those little street celebrations libs held when Brandon won were so pathetic. Like you know they imagined themselves as being like, the Rebels at the end of Return of the Jedi. The Evil Orange One has been defeated! His dastardly schemes have been foiled! At long last, Hope has been restored to that esteemed citadel of civilization and democracy! Even back then though, before Inflation, genocide, and prelude to World War III, it was all so hollow.

So I think Genocide Joe prevailing again would just lead to an even more darkly pathetic spectacle. Almost like that scene in Der Untergang when Eva Braun and the other Nazis are partying and dancing just before a Russian shell blows out the windows.

still think the best outcome would be Trump winning so Biden does a Jan 6th coup.

    1. The Biden dictatorship will be able to govern by decree, bypassing republican obstruction on things like infrastructure, abortion rights, renewable energy

    2. it would greatly diminish international standing and diplomacy.

    3. It would very likely provoke a civil war, which will stop America from being able to do imperialism for some time and destroy many military assets of the empire.

    4. 0.056% chance that during the Battle of the Florida Keys, we see Zumwalt-Class vs Zumwalt-class fighting. ($800 million dollars worth of munitions fired, 0 hits scored, both ships are sunk by naval mines while retreating)

He's going to have a massive stroke in the middle of the vote count and die mere moments before squeaking out a 0.1% win against le bad orang man

Kamala will then sustain life-threatening injures in a coconut tree-involved incident

Trump promptly dies of a heart attack from shock while shidding and farding out his doo doo ass

Here's how Nikki Haley can still win...

Same exact thing as 2020, complete with a limp meat attempt at another coup from a couple hogs (on ATVs this time, Mad Max style). Then in 2024 we get mecha Hitler.

If he wins the American left will be dead for an entire generation, you can't normalize genocide in a country and then try to build any kind of genuine movement out of that posionus soil, Bidens regime has had an absolute accelerationist effect on American politics/fascism

Which is why I think he'll win, Biden is the more competent fascist and plenty of elites realize that

I disagree, remember the liberal panic when Bernie's sorry ass won Nevada, ever since Trump came down that elevator there was a real momentum building up before Biden and covid obliterated it

We made Obama pick up the phone and forced every DNC candidate pretend to support universal healthcare

Of course now it's obvious the last hurrah was the rebellions during the summer of 2020 and today we'd be lucky to get a "left" that opposes genocide and child cages at the border

Trump scared a bunch of left curious Libs into being turbo DNC Stans. Vaushism and adjacent forms of Succism burst in popularity under Trump. Obama being a letdown was probably more radicalizing than Trump, Trump was seen as an aberration that made the neoliberal establishment seem better by comparison.

Maybe don't spend so much time thinking about how liberals will react to stuff. It's like half the posts on this website. Liberals and conservatives living rent-free in the heads of internet leftists.

The year is 2028, the democratic party moves so far to the right to "appeal to the working class" that they absorb some former Trump campaign employeees. They're having Kamala Harris run for president. You now have to see the NAFO shiba paraded around like pepe was in 2016. In the spirit of "bipartisanship" Donald Trump is her running mate.

This election is now about whether to actually do a turner diaries like genocide, or "peacefully" mass deport anyone who's "undesirable".

It’ll be relief that fascists didn’t take over followed by depression over the fact that the best the democrats came up with was more Biden.

I dunno, to see the threads on .world or reddit you get the impression they've decided Joe is really really good actually, I think they could be totally fine with it if they get more dug in between now and then.

This post confuses me. What will happen? Exactly the same that happens every election cycle - nothing fundamentally new or interesting.

I hope you're not labouring under the liberal version of events that THIS IS THE ELECTION THAT REAAAALLLY MATTERS because that happens every election cycle, every single time.

Which is why you have to vote for the Romney/Cheyney ticket. You may not agree with them on everything but at least we can agree on the most important topic, beating Trump so we still have a democracy.
