Didn't know it was a podcast until I looked into it after seeing its name posted here a few times. Now on episode five of the first season, started listening today. Cheffs kiss ima share this with all my friends
I think it was smart the order they did them in too. Pretty much everyone in the US now thinks the Iraq war was bad, so it’s not too hard to get people to listen to just how bad it was. Then Cuba which Americans dislike but know a bit about what happened, at least the Cuban missile crisis, and they’re not nearly as demonized as the DPRK. And now Korea, a war which most Americans know nothing about and a country we’re told is the most evil country on earth.
i know people don't, and that's what you're complaining about, but people should be able to do both
You're in luck, because season 2 is a big jump in quality as well. Good show for people who are new to lefty podcasts.
Yeah I feel the same way, kinda feels like the 'laugingh with my friends, they're just out of frame' meme. Not to mention there are just too many podcast, so its nice to have some actual quality instead of some dude telling a story how 'ya know dem piramids' and the host going 'whoa' after the most banal thing the guest says.
remembering the meme of that kid eating ice cream next to an advertisement of three kids happily eating ice cream
It's one of my instant favorites and I introduced a coworker to it this week.
I just wish Brendan wouldn't try to do the whisper/ASMR voice, it has the opposite effect on me.
Currently on episode 6 of the third season. No spoilers, BUT after I die I'll take a trip into Hell so I can find Douglas MacArthur and fucking eat his goddamn soul. :stalin-gun-1::elmofire:
Almost caught up with We're Not So Different and will need another podcast to binge. I may just be dreaming this but I think the person that mentioned it here is one of the hosts.
