As the replies state, still killing more people than motor vehicles, guns and opioids combined - 700 deaths yesterday.     nitter.net links are usually just broken because it's the most popular instance and it gets rate limited sooner. not sure why you think the programmer is an asshole but im curious

      I’ve shared nitter.net links all over the place and it annoys me to no end that they’ll probably be broken at least 75% of the time.

      If I had known nitter.net was such garbage - I would have never shared links. Other instances are even worse.
