    A kind of similar issue happened a while ago when they moved into a new building and were complaining about some things done by the previous tenant. Despite blurring info in that video some people tried to find and harass the employees of the previous tenant. He's said that people should absolutely stay out of it and never harass anyone on their behalf. Practically speaking that is not going to stop everyone

      Which is why these things should be handled publicly only as a last resort and saying not to harass someone as an afterthought comes off as almost intentionally malicious.

        I agree that handling things privately would be the best option. I don't think saying you shouldn't harass people 10 minutes earlier, when basically everyone listening has heard that message before on previous episodes, would make a different in the harassment. Only keeping it private would ensure there is no harassment

          It wouldn't have stopped all harassment, but I don't think it would have done nothing. Even if it kept only a single person from attacking Wu on twitter, it should have been done.
