'Disturbing': Experts troubled by Canada’s euthanasia laws

TORONTO (AP) — Alan Nichols had a history of depression and other medical issues, but none were life-threatening. When the 61-year-old Canadian was hospitalized in June 2019 over fears he might be suicidal, he asked his brother to “bust him out” as soon as possible.

Paints a further grim picture after the articles earlier this year about disabled women choosing medical suicide because they were unable to find adequate housing to handle wheelchair access or their MCS.

I also want to highlight that next year, Canada is both considering extending this to people with exclusively mental health issues as well as "Mature minors".

There is no way to implement this within a system with a profit motive

Hospitals love replacing patients with better paying patients already.
