That's a line from a dystopia tv series about a virus that's killing off humanity. One person is infected in a highly unusual way. He is healthy but for him the virus is like something out of a superhero movie. He's a sort of human bioweapon and the virus has a level of mind control. He had been fighting to save people but because his mind has become more and more poisoned over time - he has that new philosophy. And - of course - it's the way covid ghouls think about covid.

I'm watching a dubbed version but I assume that line of dialog is the same in the original. The series is in Danish and that season was first broadcast in August, 2020.

and I kinda drifted away from it. Like, I said, I stuck with ii for a bit but then they

found the Dad and went on the run again...
I didn't consciously say eww or anything but just always watvhed something else and forgot about it.🤷♂️
The cast was surprisingly good. It's a shame they had to work with dialog and act in a plot that were so weak, generic, and formulaic.
Indeed, it didn't help that I watched Dark around the same time and vibed much more heavily with that though.
