I'm not sure if it would be a good thing to quarantine COVID stuff this way or if it would just create a more intense doom spiral for some of our fellow hexbears.

It's a huge disaster that's going to sink this country and needs to be talked about, but it would be nice for people to be able to ignore it on here, if they want.

I'd honestly appreciate it. There's too much COVID news around here for my taste. I know people like talking about it, but it is just too much of a bummer.
It'd be nice to be able to have it in a specific space.
It would be nice to have a dedicated community to contain some of the covid meltdown posts that i make.
