It's like every book I've read in the last year and comrade Costa-Gavras put it all in a movie 50 years ago. It's about the Tupamaros fighting against US fascist intervention in Uruguay.

I'd suggest starting with Z, widely understood to be his best film about the fascist junta in Greece in the 60s. It's on YouTube in pretty good quality, I'd suggest watching the first five minutes rn it'll either get to totally psyched or you'll realize this isn't for you
