There are also like five hundred people with picrew avatars in the replies saying it's the best episode of the show because in the end of it the psychiatrist lady explains the toxic fans that the epic scientist guy is a bad person. Incredibly baffling.

Epic scientist grandpa turns himself into an epic pickle to avoid family therapy, therapist points out grandpa does this to avoid facing people he's harmed. Funniest shit I've ever seen

And the therapist is voiced by Susan Sarandon. Idk if that is supposed to mean anything, as in she's telling uncomfortable truths like when she didn't vote for Hillary, but she has good politics regardless.

It's still a better character than when she played a pedo (teacher that had seduced the writer that always wears a hat when he was a kid) in 30 rock.

The meme for one. For another is the episode the Rick Stan’s HATE the most because the therapist at the end completely dunks on him and anyone who has the kind of “I’m superior because I lack empathy” view

The blue curtain takeaway for the Rick stans was "How DARE that uppity feeeemale! This is bad writing! Get woke go broke!" :wojak-nooo:

I remember during The preview clip that didn’t show her response they were all going “yes! Get her Rick! Psychology is bullshit” and then the confused angry “betrayl” after she bodies him with facts and logic.

Rick and Morty started as an edgy comedy with fun sci-fi premises. Pretty solid first season, massive fandom of redditors. "Pickle Rick" is an episode where it sorta jumped the shark. Get this, a scientist turns himself into a pickle...

I get what they were going for, but like probably most viewers, I feel like they didn't stick the landing and it ended up being ridiculous but not good.

How can the show not insult someone Justin Roiland stans for, but vaguely pretend that he's being made fun of while still kissing his ass? I got it! Change one letter in the name and give him quirky facial features! Bazinga! :so-true:
