Until you have to pay your student loans 😎
:dem:
I'm banking on societal collapse by the time I'd be eligible for social security.
Just do the boring bureaucratic bullshit rather than going long on The Apocalypse.
Its win-win.
I struggle to open my mail. Would like to get a diagnosis for likely ADD or possibly an anxiety disorder but that would basically require me to not have whatever blockage in my head keeps me from doing basic tasks.
That was my strategy before they were delayed: Simply don’t make enough money for them to charge me
I got lucky by being too poor and too much of a depressed loser to even think about going to college in the first place :comfy-cool:
I'm pretty sure going into debt with the most bloodthirsty murderous government for a useless degree is a pretty loser move
I'm just gonna not pay, and then get a temporary forbearance every 3-4 months when my payment is late. I'll keep doing this until I'm dead or leave the country.
Nope, and it's something the call center worker can just do right over the phone, as opposed to something like an income-driven/income-based repayment plans which you have to apply for. I've done this for years with FedLoan Servicing, and so the only thing I'm not sure of is how it will be handled if they transfer it to someone else, but I have no reason to believe it will be any different. The customer service workers obviously don't care or are sympathetic, and I believe these providers are incentivized to find ways to keep borrowers from defaulting.
will be something to see if biden kicks the can down the road and continues the pause, or comes up with some measly payout to borrowers and rips the bandaid off. i could imagine either; i've thought it pretty clever to keep the kicking the can, as this pressures indebted young people to continue to support the dems, but perhaps recent political winds change the calculus.
Some republican is gonna run on doubling student debt to “teach responsibility” or some shit, and Kamala will win on the promise to only raise the totals by 25% or 10% if you run a small business
