The Azov and the neo-nazi international are analogous to the muhajadeen in Afghanistan during the 1970/80s.

Great point by Chomsky. :chomsky-yes-honey:

I wonder what he thinks about his "the fall of the Soviet Union was a win for socialism" take now.

How did that work out, Chumpsky?

The "rules based international order" that choms likes to bring up so much is just a proxy phrase for "the american empire". The "rules based international order" is run from washington the same way the Roman empire was run by Rome.

It is also an incredibly fashy phrase when you think about it closely.

Ah, but did you publish it in a peer-reviewed journal?

Bit idea: hexbear should start its own scientific journal so that if people try to use hexbear-specific memes or concepts, they gotta cite it academically Lmao.

Wdym people are fallible and not eternal engines of materialist analysis who keep having theory-correct takes constantly?

Besides, Chomsky doesn't mind having his bad takes on the record. His debate w/Foucault is proof of that

He has always had a western chauvinistic take when it comes to AES countries like the average white leftist in the west.

Mostly just the Soviet Union and maybe China as far as I know. He's always been pretty supportive of Cuba, Venezuela and most other AES as far as I know. I think he always had a type of brainworm where he can see that Cuba's shortcomings are mainly are due to US terrorism against them but can't see the same thing about the USSR. He calls Lenin a right opportunist lol.
