Not sure I've seen this posted, but hot damn are a lot of eyes on open carry antifash now. Effective example of community defense? The protestors' attention was held entirely by the security team, and violence was kept minimal. So far, it seems a lot better for activists to show up and deny entry to fascists, rather than letting PBs and associated acts enter buildings and terrorize participants.

Also, we've seen non-lethal defence send the cowards flying, all you need is some comrades and some coordination, and you too can protect your local queer community https://nitter.net/LukeCleary/status/1542713196636540932?t=bJqqpd39WSz-df8u--_4vQ&s=19

This Sunday CA fash of varying stripes are targeting an all ages pride festival in Riverside. Make no mistake comrades, no part of this country is safe, they're getting louder with the queer and transphobia and we have to make sure they aren't successful https://nitter.net/VPS_Reports/status/1564698604626817024?t=wi8QhrEqZzh4EuBqUs1M-A&s=19

Black bloc is waaaay scarier and more professional in appearance than the chud rabble look that they go for. Black bloc look like Spetznaz while armed chud groups look more like they're in a vietnam movie after being deployed and under-supplied for far too long.

It's hilarious how, despite this group being armed, uniformed, and disciplined adults, chuds still resort to the same insults about anti-fascists being children. Just so unprepared for serious resistance to their bullshit that they can't process it. I would definitely say it's partially due to the incredible goddamn fits!

The more professional looking the better. They might be tempted to try something if they looked remotely amateur, but being well prepped, well trained and acting like proper security companies would act working a venue will prevent any and all action from their side.

At this point the only option for escalation the far right will have will be bombings. You can't start a gun battle with these people but you could move to bombs instead, the idea that this will look like Years of Lead that people have been suggesting is correct in my opinion. It is the natural pathway of escalation.

              They already started

*note that this article, and subsequent ones, have been sanitized to show he was a "lone wolf" with "schizophrenic tendencies" - when in reality, he was a 5G conspiracy nut.

Really not convinced that this was politically motivated, it's an incredibly weird one but it seems to be targeted at his former employer more than anything to do with the left. Could be covered up but I'm not sure his partner would take part in that coverup? Very odd one though.

I am more talking about specific targeted attacks aimed to physically harm people with bombs too. This one was entirely property damage and he seemed to go out of his way not to hurt anyone with the warning alert.

When I refer to bombings as the natural way for this to escalate it's because you can put a bomb somewhere without anyone really knowing about it. You can't attack this drag act physically with bats, you can't attack it with guns unless you want them to shoot back, but you can leave a backpack bomb in the area if you don't want to die or you can do a suicidal truck attack similar to ISIS. Attacks that can not be defended against are the most obvious step when the far right starts discussing what to do about armed leftists.

They're convinced they're the only people with guns, so that the war they want would be super easy. When reality looks them in the eye, they're uncomfortable.

Incredibly proud of these comrades for putting it on the line to stand against "christian fascist" brown shirts. This is the kind of resistance that we need to show.

How did it end? Did the hogs kick the ever loving snot out of antifa, some innocent lgbt people, and then get a standing ovation from the internet as per usual?

The worst they did was a headbutt. Mostly just frothed in front of cameras, and called a gun an AR-47. This is 100% because they felt unsafe escalating any further due to disciplined anti-fascists they even organized escorts for those attending the brunch to ensure nobody was caught unawares. You don't start assaulting the people open carrying or those they're protecting

Normally I'd be worried about these kind of things because I would be certain that CHUDs would take this step-up in defense as a challenge. Glad to see that I was proven wrong this time.

Is this what effective Propaganda of the Deed is? I know it’s usually associated with assassinations and bombings but wouldn’t direct action that encourages ‘copy-cat’ behavior (because people can clearly see it’s a good thing) effectively the same?

I'm not an expert but if this inspires others that I guess it would fit the bill. Here's hoping others get the memo
