Sprouted bread is a type of bread made from whole grains that have been allowed to sprout, that is, to germinate, before being milled into flour. There are a few different types of sprouted grain bread. Some are made with additional added flour, some are made with added gluten, and some, such as Essene bread and Ezekiel bread (after an ancient bread formula in Ezekiel 4:9)

And you, take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred ninety days, you shall eat it.

Ezekiel 4:15 follows up with

Then he said to me, “See, I will let you have cow’s dung instead of human dung, on which you may prepare your bread.

Who knew the bible had some recipes in it ? That god guy really thought of everything.

Here is a modern recipe for Ezekiel bread

You do however need a means of grinding the beans and such into flour. Unless you live near a store that sells more avant garde bean flours. You can also buy this in the grocery store frozen or unfrozen for way too much money.

I am exactly 100 days sober now. Pretty happy about it. Haven't had a real craving in months. SMART recovery works folks.

That’s a wonderful success. One reason I don’t self treat with chems (very often) anymore is that I know from direct experience it’s an unsustainable strategy and then you’re in a worse position.

I don’t go regularly but I liked Smart recovery. I also got more out of one stint in a mental hospital than many many detoxes and rehabs. Never did the hard hard stuff again. The difference was the compassion and them actually treating me like a worthy human being that they wanted to help. All the detox/rehabs were tough love drill-sergeant BS, break you down, and just gave me ptsd.

Yeah, rehab doesn't have a great track record amongst alcoholics. Turns out positive reinforcement works well. Who knew?

https://www.smartrecovery.org/ check it out for yourself. It's set up to tackle any type of addictive behavior, even though alcohol is what most use it for. Their main tool book is on LibGen as well.

Just happened to see your comment. Cheers. Had people close to me do the mandated 12 step program many times and it never quite stuck. They're gone now, but this seems helpful for the future

I had to drop out of a sociology course on the environment, unrelated to the course itself. I'm kinda glad I did cos I think it might have made me go super doomer in hindsight

Love to just pretend everything is fine instead :this-is-fine:

Some Destiny fan threatened to track me down. I told him to do it. I'd love to see this dweeb come into rural Central America, in MS-13 territory, where every farmer and their kids have a gun.

Debatebro trying to explain that it's actually wholesome chungus to vote for Joe Brandon to a MS-13 member who has killed 12 people is a good bit.

The absolute nerve of customers coming up to me at work when I'm trying to work out or brush my teeth or learn Spanish or doodle cartoons on post-its and leave them around for other people to find or any of the other stuff I do at work.

I found an ancient 1000+ page book of collected works of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin at a used bookstore today. It's from 1935! It's called 'Handbook of Marxism' edited by Emile Burns if anyone is curious

Very excited to read it :hyperflush:
