I felt ever so slightly bittersweet at the ending even though I thought it was the best ending of a game I've played for a while.

Got hit by a car this morning on my scooter. I had the crosswalk light, but he was turning right on red and looking left for oncoming traffic. Fortunately he was moving slow and I'm fine, but mfer made it all the way through the intersection with my scooter underneath, fully ran over it. The shop said it'd cost more to replace than repair, and it looks like he's gonna pay for it, but still, sad to see it go.

Yeah, I know one of those too. Decided they were an anarchocommunist a few years back and hasn't read any theory. They're a good friend, I just avoid talking politics that go beyond the surface level.
Mine has read the bread book, but has also decided that that's all the theory they need to have very important opinions on America's overseas military adventures (the old ones were bad, but all the current ones are actually good!)

I tend not to get wrapped up in arguments because it's pointless and debates never change anyone's mind. There's always something better you could be doing even if it's simple praxis out on the street.
i mean, it depends. people have def changed my mind after an argument/debate/discussion. obviously it's somewhat rare and i do consider myself a pretty open minded person, but it's possible. it's also not instantaneous generally. but yeah, if it's an online discussion and you're getting worked up over it it's def better to just leave it. not like you're gonna get much out of it anyway.

"Meat alternatives" are babystepper shit and there's a reason grocery stores put them in the meat isle.
i mean, who cares? they are plant-based and people are attached to food they used to eat. it's common to hear people say they miss their parents' or grandparents' food. just because you go vegan doesn't mean you stop liking the taste of animal products or comfort foods which are made with animal products.
I care. Most of them are owned and made by the meat industry, so buying them supports meat capitalists
