Ah yes, we should have an absolute monarch, but the cults of personality around Stalin, Mao, the Kims etc are all horrible. Pick a fucking lane, hogs.

They were all bad because they Usurped the Thrones of the Righteous and Good. Its the same reason Obama stealing the Presidency from John McCain or Bernie stealing the Presidency from Hillary was bad.

Less functional for the working class, but a well-oiled machine for the bourgeoisie and the vestigial feudal remnants.

They claim to yearn for one, but then you offer them a pope and they get all irate about it.

    which famously loved absolute monarchs

It kinda did though? There were a decent number of monarchs that are known today as "Enlightened Absolutes," e.g. absolute monarchs who were really into the Enlightenment. Yes, the French Revolution famously killed the king on the basis of Enlightenment principles but that was very late in the period.

"The problem with the United States, you see, is that they simply don't have a consistent cucking force. The average Yank is simply befuddled by all the constant changes in who to be cucked by. They need to tame that chaos dragon with a more powerful cuckolding force, you see."

Voting for a king who changes every 8 years while faceless bureaucrats ensure nothing fundamentally changes is literally the current system

All of this, I imagine, kept stable under the benevolent gaze of the dyarchy between the Vanguard chairman and a the neo-gnostic elcesiarchs who have listened to ever Cushvlog episode to guide us away from the Demiurge.

Finally, a historical contingency I'm qualified to embody the contradictions between.

Well to be fair the Enlightenment had reactionaries too, they just eventually either lost or slid into the new liberal order that emerged in the 19th century.
