Police and prosecutors have not disputed that Lewis was sexually assaulted and trafficked. But prosecutors have argued that Brooks was asleep at the time he was stabbed and not an immediate danger to Lewis.

Violence against slavers is self-defense. They should blame the stabbed trafficker for those children being fatherless, not the person who exercised self-defense
Even other capitalist countries thinks the US plea bargain system is fucked up as well as the rest of the US justice system. When I was in law school my penal laws professor used the US as an example of obvious madness to have a laugh at before moving on to serious matters.

Weird how an ontologically evil country seems to have no problem with violence done against its underclass, but only really criminalizes retaliation.
