I'll keep my water in an old milk jug in the fridge that way it stays cool.

Hmmm so for the small markup of ~600%, I can save on buying milk? What a deal!

It's been done before, but they had a hard time getting the dehydrated milk to not feel/taste like rehydrated milk after adding water.

Supposedly this powdered milk has a higher fat content making it more "milk-y" per the article

Gonna do a pog face when I find this while scavving a 7-11 in 2039 (ecological collapse has made real cow's milk a precious commodity, I can buy my family a month's worth of cricket meal with it)

Anyone who puts water on cereal is going to hell, powdered milk or not.

Milk does bad things to my guts. If I have to eat cereal and I don't have some kinda plant based "milk" I end up just using water.

Oh wow you unlocked a deep memory of mine. As a kid I could drink milk so I had some leftover in my bowl and some leftover orange juice in my glass. I mixed them in the bowl and the acid curdled the milk and it turned all flakey and I felt like a scientist unlocking some kind of mystery.

Also, yeah, that's not weird. I like fresh fruit in my cereal. People buy cereal with dehydrated fruit in it. Fruit juice is just an extension of that. You've cut out a middle man.

I actually do get a craving for liquid dairy or icecream like once or twice a year. Thanks!

np, I think it helps if you keep them refrigerated too so the enzymes don't degrade
