Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

These people are basically just the geopolitical version of flat earthers or doomsday cultists to me at this point. They're utterly convinced of their position and they reached it through peer pressure and social media posts and not even the semblence of logic so all you can do is be like "That's nice dear, yes, Russia is about to run out of artillery shells, just as you said in March, May, June, July..."
I can think of another group of people that you might describe with those words.
But in reality, if Russia mobilizes Ukraine is fucked unless there is a 1905/1917 situation or the west gets much more involved, both of which are not too likely.
Bro you're literally describing Ukr strat, I'm going nuts
"It's all projection?" :astronaut-2: :astronaut-1:
This is how Ukraine can still win!
Him deleting the word document on accident because he’s almost 70 and doesnt know computers makes sense
His grandchild has been rushed to the Kremlin to tell him how to open PDF.
He was gonna print it our but ran out of toner and can’t get any more due to western sanctions
Honestly not implausible. It depends on whether the decision to have the address was made before or after the wave of referenda was announced, which might have changed the message being given.
...then again, I figure that they would have made a statement about it being cancelled before this point, so...
