Prob cuz of TikTok and Twitter. But I just can admit it, assuming they're not a MAGAt (which we should always avoid).

Oh. How big are leftist movements? In US, most of the youth tend to have some aanti-cap stances, especially the ones on Twitter and TikTok

Forgive me for being too paranoid on the internet, smh. But yeah, it's huge. I don't want to give (westerners) the idea that it's one small chunk with a few thousand people. That's how they justify exploiting us.

it's mostly because i'd expect many more bolivians/venezuelans to be leftists than brazilians and colombians, for instance

You have to take in consideration the spaces you interact with. Bolivian and Venezuelan comrades exist in big numbers, so do the gusanos. And in these two countries there is a lot of violence against leftists. Avoid rich white Catholic Latines at all cost.

oh i'm brazilian so i'm aware of that

though i'd say brazilian catholics aren't as bad as the evangelicals (still terrible, but we got some good, reasonably prominent examples for caths, whereas the number for evangelicals is basically 0)

Leftist? It depends on what you mean by leftist. Communist movements and organizations are tiny. Real anticapitalist leftist movements have been replaced by populist center-left politics. Indigenous, feminist and LGBT activism also face a lot of backlash.
