Sadly avoiding my parents isnt worth 2/3 of my income, but hot darn I need some space for myself

    I don't know if it's feasible for you/your schedule (admittedly I was already somewhat predisposed to it), but what I did was just become nocturnal. My parents' alarm goes off at 8am, and I go to bed around 7:50am. You'll still be around them for a few hours a day, but it could make shit way more manageable. good luck comrade :heart-sickle:

      I did the same thing basically for like nearly 8 non consecutive adult years. my parents got into fights with me over it but i didn't care. it got easier as i got older. so glad to be in a shitty house of my own now.

      lmao this is exactly what I'm doing now that i'm stuck living with my folks for the forseeable future. It's like summer vacation again, except it's not fun and i wish it could end. That being said it gives me room to breathe, have alone time, write, watch movies etc. so it's not the worst thing in the world
