idk chief I dont see any distinction between trump and biden that holds any substance so i'd rather be guilt free

esp since biden is prolly going to start a couple wars

Good luck, you're American, you're as guilty as the rest of us and how you mark a ballot in November ain't gonna change that.

okay then i guess i can just not vote since im already guilty

I am voting 3rd party to count our numbers. Lenin talked about it somewhere and it seems pretty rational to me. I suggest you do the same.

Yeah sure just stop treating this like it's some act of personal absolution.

when theres no distinction between the two candidates you may as well personally absolve yourself

                    personally absolve yourself

You cannot do this at the ballot box. You just cannot. You continue to live here and materially benefit from being within the imperial core, so no, you're absolved of nothing.

really helps us to feel good

                        And there it is.

not voting being a cleansing wave that washes away ties to all the worthless, empty choices made before

This is utter nonsense, you cannot undo the past. Those Iraqis are still dead, for example.

If the path of reasoning you've followed has left you with no choice but to cling to an admitted delusion, maybe it's time to reexamine the reasoning that you followed.

That's fair. I certainly don't blame anyone for not wanting to support the diet GOP.

I've got strong feelings both ways and no good way to untangle them. But I live in Texas so it really doesn't matter.

My comparatively weak standard that I developed before even Bernie had entered the race was that if whoever the DNC ends up nominating can do better in polling than Clinton in Texas, I'd try to push them over the line with my vote.

The Dems have met that standard so far but between their diet GOP convention, the Neal/Morse shenanigans, Pelosi's Kennedy endorsement, and the Biden camp saying "oh we were just trying to placate 'Warren people,'" goddamn they are determined to give me reasons to disregard it and throw my vote to the Greens or something.
