If reincarnation is real she's spending the next 1000 life cycles as a flatworm or some thing.

    Fake royalist, anyone that both:

    a) believes in reincarnation

    and

    b) wants to shag the queen

Would clearly believe that the queen lived such a pure life that she would return to being part of the Brahmin.

:geordi-no: Reincarnation as an allegorical recognition that while individual egos are transient, the phenomenon of experience is universal and necessarily eternal

:geordi-yes: Reincarnation as literal belief that you'll project your chewy ectoplasmic center into your favorite animal after you flatline

I can never tell of these woo woo mystical posts are in earnest, or taking the piss. Because I can totally believe someone believes this, but it also reads like satire.

I like how, even as a dead person or spirit thing, time's forward march is still inexorable. There's no way that a spiritual realm or existence can be unmoored from the perception of time that mortal beings have. I don't believe in the western conception of reincarnation, but I always thought it could be cool to be reincarnated as someone in our past. That way I could maybe be a dinosaur.
