People are tagging netflix in the replies. What are they going to do? Defeat Russia by spending another $200 million on transphobic specials?

It's also common throughout the rest of Eastern Europe (including Ukraine) and the Balkans. America might be the only place where normal people are this touchy about corporate intellectual property.

Basically, five eyes countries are super touchy about copyright (Australia is really strict) but you might as well just call them parts of America at this point as they are essentially puppet states of the US

also everyone on brics LOVES PIRATING STUFF, like in general if your country is poor or developing you are probably okay with it, like brazil will pretend they are not and do the lip service and say it is a crime TO SELL THEM but you can own it and no one can do anything about it unless you are caught selling it

Too big and too many nuclear weapons. Once again demonstrating that if you don't want to be pushed around by the West, you need your own nukes.

I like to imagine Netflix's expensive lawyers sending a cease and desist to Putin and receiving a photo of a nuclear missile in return.

Uncritical support to Russian Crackers in their heroic struggle to provide free software to the masses.

Yeah I watched some Vice thing about farmers having to used cracked diagnostics software for their 150k+ tractors just to be able to repair it themselves. It's outrageous that they don't sell the software to consumers on top of making it so complicated. Sometimes the tractors just need 1 small easy part but you have zero way of knowing it without the fucking software. And even if you did somehow figure it out you still have to do a software check to reset the fucking error to even start the damn thing.

This is horrible. Don't worry, I'll spread this information as far as possible. I'll make sure to let everyone know that those nefarious Russians are hosting free movies and TV shows on Zetflix. That's Z-E-T-F-L-I-X. Like Netflix with a Z. I'll tell them they're hosting Netflix's content, for free, where anyone can access. I'll tell all my friends and tell them to tell their friends, to make sure they all know what those Russians are doing and to make sure nobody goes there by accident.
