Biden added, “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.” He suggested the threat from Putin is real “because his military is — you might say — significantly underperforming.”

“because his military is — you might say — significantly underperforming.”

I mean fuck war, but that's pretty rich coming from a country with a military that hasn't fought a near peer since the 1950s and has routinely gotten its ass handed to it by farmers for the last half century.

Furthermore, if he's acknowledging that the reason there's a threat to begin with is that conventional means have started to become less effective against Ukraine, due in no small part to the fact the West can keep throwing support to Ukraine and fight to the last Ukrainian, isn't is psychopathic that there isn't even a question of trying to end the war just to avoid the threat of nuclear war?

Notice how the risk of 'nuclear armageddon' only goes up when other atomic powers start conflicts.

It's been pretty wild seeing Zelensky affirm over and over again that they will not negotiate under any circumstances, ever, and the libs are just like "Yes, excellent, this is statesmanship."

Isn't that pretty much what got them into this situation in the past few years?

Then the responsible thing to do would be to return to the negotiating table in earnest and seek a compromise. No compromise made to end the war could be worse than nuclear Armageddon.

Do the liberal thing and defeat Putin in the marketplace of ideas instead.

Biden has so far been resisting some crazy neocon crusade to start a nuclear armageddon...

This is how Bernie can still win.

IF there's a crusade they probably don't actually want a nuclear war.

Unless it's a great reset biblical crusade....

Am I the only one to think that Biden has so far been resisting some crazy neocon crusade to start a nuclear armageddon?

I think you are, because the Democrats seem pretty dead set on pushing this thing until we all glow in the dark. They want to rape and pillage Russia and they're not going to let something as paltry as nuclear annihilation get in their way.
