I liked most of the show, but they genuinely went for a terrible ending and patted themselves on the back for it. I was invested in this character, but we didn't even really get a resolution on her arc.
idk man, it felt like an issue of John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk run to me. That tone's not for everyone, but I'm kinda fond of it now and then.
I haven't read She-Hulk so I don't know how prominent 4th wall breaking is. Honestly the whole "breaking into Marvel studios" wouldn't have bothered me if it led somewhere. But she was like "i'm fixing this stupid ending" and then not giving us an interesting one.
yeah I don't mind breaking the 4th wall and stuff but bringing in the fucking Disney app and her breaking into marvel studios was too much and it would have been tolerable but the ending we got was actively made worse by it
also I'm annoyed because they were like "I don't want the Hulk to come save the day" and he literally wasn't even doing that he busted in and started making shit worse by picking a fight with Abomination, that's not "saving the day"
the ending just felt like some shit-lib "haha take THAT 4chan, the hacker known as 4chan will now face justice!!" but we don't even get to see that (because the fucking over the top 4th wall breaking sequence took up a third of the fucking episode)
they actively chose to end the season with an unsatisfying, boring anti-climax, all so that they can go :farquaad-point: HAHA FANS MAD (probably because they hate strong women!!)
