first they kill off Dora from Edgerunners, then they're shrinking down Lady Dimitrescu and now this :deeper-sadness:

the world isn't ready for large, buff, bafflingly strong women

Well she's a lawyer in the comics and does like superhero law like representing captain marvel in some intergalactic court shit and stuff like that but in the show she does like two court cases and then loses one to Daredevil who is pretty much introduced to go Daredevil :soypoint-2: and so she can fuck him.

The rest of the plot is how bad and evil and sexist men are and how not-4chan can't deal with a feeemale Hulk and even that gets blown apart by this dumb, stupid fucking ending

              ending spoilers

She fucked him off camera so idk but I assume it was not as Hulk because she just had a hookup with a guy who left when she turned back into Jen

The ending was setting up some dipshit 4chan owner to be like "haha we stole your blood I'm a hulk now" as she confronts him after finding out who he is after they doxx her and leak a sex tape. Abomination is there giving a motivational speech which is bad because he's violating his parole to talk to incels as the Abomination but he says he's just doing it for the speaking money.

Anyway Shithead guy starts hulking out, Jen Hulks out (violating her own plea bargain/parole/ whatever), then Bruce Banner Hulk shows up and misconstrues Abomination as holding Jen against her will and starts to fight him

Then She Hulk is like "UM WHO IS THIS SHOW FOR WE'RE NOT DOING THIS" and takes her 4th Wall Breaking to a literal dimension as she punches through the Disney streaming service and uses it to get to the Real World Marvel Studios.

She then goes on to the set of She Hulk where she learns everything is being controlled by Kevin

Turns out no it's not Kevin Feige, it's a super computer, and she tells him "this ending is dumb change it" so they change everything, Shithead Guy is no longer hulking out, Bruce Banner is no longer there, the cops show up and arrest the guy who owns Not 4chan and she says she'll "see him in court"

Emil Blonsky (the abomination) goes to prison for 10 years for violating parole because she hulk told Kevin she "wants to see him hold himself accountable" BUT HER OWN TRANSFORMATION RESULTS IN NO CONSEQUENCES

We get no hulk battle because Jen declares it to be a "bad ending" which she as a Hulk has now "smashed" but we don't even get to see her own this guy in court. Also the whole season had this "we gotta steal her blood" shit that is entirely meaningless because Jen Said So.

Show ends with her eating dinner with her family and Daredevil and then Bruce Banner shows up and he's got a Hulk Son now

Post- credit scene at least has Abomination get broken out of jail by Wong to go live in kamar taj which was cool

No all of that actually happened

                  Edit also

                  spoilers

It's really stupid how she gets sent to super prison and has to agree to never hulk again at the start of the episode for trashing an award ceremony but Titania gets no consequences for fucking up a fucking court room

Also there's no payoff to this Titania shit I thought they'd at least fight one more time

BUT HER OWN TRANSFORMATION RESULTS IN NO CONSEQUENCES

This so much. If they wanted to do something other than a hulk fight climax then they should have had her defend herself for hulk smashing. A court scene where she explains that male superheros don't immediately get arrested, they were violating her privacy. There were so many other options other than what we got.

She won the best lawyer of the year award in-show

During the award ceremony the video feed was hacked by the incel brigade, wearing masks suspiciously similar to Doomcock's. For those who don't know Doomcock, he's this chud youtuber who unfortunately has really good sources inside Hollywood, he's been right about a lot of things before they happened. He's also one of the people who constantly attacks She-Hulk, so it was the show's way of fucking with him and getting inside his head.

Except that was another showcasing of societal misogyny not proof of her being Best Lawyer because she shared it with like 7 other women

She honestly does very little lawyering in the show, but they constantly break the 4th wall and say "this is a legal comedy not a superhero show."

It's called fan-baiting. It provides instant excuses for lazy scripts and poor screenwriting. Just attack the fans and nobody will notice that your show actually isn't good at all. Because there are so many enraged capeshit fans screaming about it, and they can't be right about anything.

I liked most of the show, but they genuinely went for a terrible ending and patted themselves on the back for it. I was invested in this character, but we didn't even really get a resolution on her arc.

idk man, it felt like an issue of John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk run to me. That tone's not for everyone, but I'm kinda fond of it now and then.

I haven't read She-Hulk so I don't know how prominent 4th wall breaking is. Honestly the whole "breaking into Marvel studios" wouldn't have bothered me if it led somewhere. But she was like "i'm fixing this stupid ending" and then not giving us an interesting one.

yeah I don't mind breaking the 4th wall and stuff but bringing in the fucking Disney app and her breaking into marvel studios was too much and it would have been tolerable but the ending we got was actively made worse by it

also I'm annoyed because they were like "I don't want the Hulk to come save the day" and he literally wasn't even doing that he busted in and started making shit worse by picking a fight with Abomination, that's not "saving the day"

the ending just felt like some shit-lib "haha take THAT 4chan, the hacker known as 4chan will now face justice!!" but we don't even get to see that (because the fucking over the top 4th wall breaking sequence took up a third of the fucking episode)

they actively chose to end the season with an unsatisfying, boring anti-climax, all so that they can go :farquaad-point: HAHA FANS MAD (probably because they hate strong women!!)

Kevin Feige being some sort of ultra advanced AI was just masturbatory especially since it also included references to shitting on their VFX staff again, Taika Waititi being the first.
