What a little worm. What the interviewer means by "happened" is very clear, because he frames these doctrines as in opposition with lobster boy's symbolic interpretation. It necessarily means "happened" as in a historical event that took place, literally.
Yeah this is so different than how Peterson normally is. He'd definitely answer differently if the question was like "are trans people literally the gender they claim to be"

This is actually the most normal I've ever seen him, which says a lot. He's almost trying to express what he calls post-modernism, like a skepticism of the authority of language and symbols and instead proposing there are idiosyncratic interpretations of God's existence. I thought that's what he was against? Did he hit his head?
If I didn't know who Peterson was I'd think from this interview he's a guy rephrasing Derrida or Foucault in goofy ways
