was moments away from signing up for CPUSA before they dropped their "we're actually democrats" tweet a few days ago. is the :PSL: a better option to join? idk what difference it will make, I assume all socialist parties in the US are basically the same.

cpusa is good but has really small organizational development. psl local members are usually cool but leadership trends from racist to transphobic so id try to focus on the connections u can make w members over being attached to them.

No, I just think you were smearing the entire PSL, which is a sort of large national org at this point (probably the largest, or at least most influential ML org in the US), because of some unverifiable, anonymous bs that runs counter to their stated ideology and orientation. I have personal experience that contradicts what you have said too. I have known a lot of trans comrades in the party, in my areas the party also does a lot of work to oppose transphobia and attacks on the lgbtq community... and I have seen them do a lot of anti-racist work. All of their lit is in opposition to racism, national oppression, and supports lgbtq rights. So if you met someone "in leadership" who espoused something racist or transphobic, I would expect that person to be disciplined or corrected at the very least.

I have seen PSL leadership purposefully cut off trans rights marches by planning their womens rights marches through the proposed path of a trans rights march. the leadership i and others have known have been known to be vengeful and petty.

i would hope that these people will be disciplined or corrected as well. and i really like a lot of psl members i have met and most of them are highly advanced and likable people. its all random bullshit on the internet anyway and the most important thing is to get people to join the struggle and concrete work.

i also mentioned that CPUSA has very small organizational development and that is likely having a huge impact on their org as well. i would just hope to give people a correct idea of what their experience may be like working with these orgs, and i would hope that it did not come off overly divisive and controversial.

I'd say you will want to look into the party documents and positions to see which party's positions best align with your own.

If you somehow think you can help claw back the Old party from the DNC sheepdog Webbites, who somehow keep getting reelected regardless of how revolutionarily militant the rank and file are, then maybe that could be a home for you. Maybe it's your local PSL club because they're the only ones around. Maybe you choose PCUSA even if you'd be the only member in your state - like a certain someone in the state of Alaska.

Point is, do your research. Dip your toes in and try to learn organizer skills and party discipline that you can carry with you onwards to a different group if you don't fit in with whatever party you join.

A few hundred scattered around the country constantly fluctuating from how I've heard it.

I know there's a concentration on the east coast centered around NY since that's where the national office is situated (also where the majority of shitlib takes come from, funny enough). I know west Virginia has some real cranks who're real "my way or the highway " types ( I've heard they've even driven out handicapped comrades for not being "zealous enough"). I also know their San Francisco club just got gutted because the membership was getting too radical for the national office. Also Dallas has a decent sized club.

I dare anyone in CPUSA to correctly explain what "Juche" is and how it differs from Marxism-Leninism.

      how it differs from Marxism-Leninism.

Page 7 of "on the juche idea" by Kim Il-sung:

In his early years of revolutionary activities, the leader [Kim Il-sung] was well versed in Marxism-Leninism. But he did not confine himself to applying Marxism-Leninism to the Korean revolution but pioneered a new phase of revolutionary theory from a steadfast Juche-based standpoint and resolved the problems arising in the revolutionary practice from a unique angle.

And this "unique angle" abandons class, which is p damn different from ML
