    This actually doesn't seem any more sinister or opaque to me than the way Twitter currently does moderation, although I'm sure the results will somehow be much worse.

      yeah it's really hard to imagine how the site could be worse. enforcement is already minimal and arbitrary because investing in an adequately sized moderation department would yield few returns. currently the most consistent things they ban are direct threats of violence in language that can be flagged automatically against high-interest accounts. I could see musk scrapping that system, but since the real addicts just remake anyway, I don't see how it would make a difference.
