Hmm, yes, providing military training to literal marxists and anarchists is an excellent idea. Please do. There's absolutely no way it could spectacularly backfire.

Nothing says freedom like forcing people into the military for attitude adjustment!

Ah yes, because filling the military up with people who fundamentally disagree with the military is a great idea. Can’t see anything wrong with this plan no sir

It produced a lot of fragged officers towards the end of Vietnam and basically destroyed the Army, so I'm all for it.

Imagine thinking being in the military would challenge a professional athlete. Maybe people come out of boot camp more fit than average, but it isn't too remarkable.

Fit people usually have no problem in boot camp. I wasn't really in shape and I didn't have much of a challenge.

It is one of the reasons that Germany put conscription into abeyance in 2010.

Almost all of their right wing terrorists had learned bomb making in the military.

In today's world, conscription more empowers enemies of the system than the system tbh.

We deported tons of Mexican immigrants that served in the military. So in reality we are worse that star ship troopers.

It's also apparently really difficult to get your citizenship if you're an Afghani or Iraqi that collaborated with the US military, and have been granted asylum on the grounds that your life is now in danger in your home country. Which seems absurd.

Driving through traffic and getting flagrant fouled by an IED
